I haven\u2019t left the house all say, except twice for shopping around the corner. Too lazy to take the way up to Hollywood for another apartment scouting trip. And it seemed rain starts pouring down every minute. Yesterday was nice, on apartment search. I ended up in the building at 706 S. Normandie Ave, the first place I staid when I arrived in LA. A studio is available, one of the more acceptable apartments I saw so far. But as everything else fairly expensive\u2026In the same area another studio, on St.Andrews Place, tiny, minimum kitchen, for $850\u2026Sometimes I am wondering where the desperate people are renting a place like this, or they simply don\u2019t care? Also in this area, Koreatown, occupied mostly by Latin Americans in the meantime, another studio, $850. I saw an exact same apartment just a few blocks away, earlier last week, for $725. Anyway, Normandie Ave is memory also. I didn\u2019t know where I was at that time. A completely strange city. At least everything is in walking distance, so there is time for adaptation. And the apartment was big, coming from New York I couldn\u2019t believe it. And I don\u2019t really know what happened now that I have the impression everything is small and overpriced. Deja-vu. Recently I also paid a visit to the caf\u00e9 at Wishire\/Cochran I believe. My stop on my first commute to work. The second one was the caf\u00e9 with the in-house roasted coffee beans on Washington Ave, in Culver City. Very gentle people there, I remember. Finally the third in Silverlake, before the time of the espresso machine in the office. Traces of me moving around. <\/span><\/p>\n

So today my present place which I like more and more\u2026$700, with parking place. I don\u2019t know if anything like that exists in the city anywhere else. But I feel terribly lazy not leaving the house. No time to relax. I can\u2019t see the day just passing by without a trace of activity, progress in something you\u2019re trying to achieve.
