I know about the second largest Mexican city &#8211; Los Angeles. I was not so curious about how my parents learn about obviously a significant population of Iranians in Los Angeles. It makes me more thinking about the diversity of Los Angeles. I don&#8217;t know where these Iranians live, I need to find them. The structure of the city through it&#8217;s population. There is no center, no suburbs. But there are neighborhoods. It&#8217;s a homogeneous mass with expressions of different identities by the people who accommodate the area where they live. No clear borders but you feel the sense of distinctive differentiations of places. To adapt them is more challenging since there is nothing that guides you. It&#8217;s like a jungle where you have to find your own way. You learn, you experience and you start to put all the pieces together, slowly creating you&#8217;re own map. Everybody&#8217;s personal maps form the identity called Los Angeles. It&#8217;s a patchwork, a collection of realities, dreams, politics, interactions, paths, pictures, imaginations&#8230;Thinking of the night, standing on a hill looking down, a endless carpet of lights.
